Randy’s Rodeo

Randy's Rodeo, San Antonio, Texas

As it originally stood, Randy’s was a bowling alley – but to music lovers and historians from the 1970s, it will forever be remembered as the venue The Sex Pistols landed one night in 1978 for a concert in front of a couple thousand curious locals and rabid fans. The night could also be described as the beginning of the end for the band.

Randy’s Rodeo has been tamed down a bit – I believe music can still be heard there… as well as the call of bingo.

Olmos Pharmacy

Olmos Pharmacy
Olmos Pharmacy. San Antonio, Texas.
The Olmos Pharmacy was once a bona fide working pharmacy that had a fabulous authentic lunch counter right inside. Well known and respected for their cheeseburgers and even more for their tasty malted milkshakes. Yum!
