Growing up, I would spend time at my Grandmother's house for a few summer weeks. The highlight of each week was when she would give me a couple of bucks for and I would walk down to the corner grocer and gaze at the comic books. I was mesmerized by the colors and the action calling out tom me on the cover of each edition. I was partial to the Superman series and the Jimmy Olsen series.

With a couple of comics, ice cream and maybe some candy - I would trek back up the hill with my treasure.

I am proud to say that I have each and every one of these comic books. To this day I can flip throw these classics and remember those lazy days spent vacationing with my family.
